The firm was incorporated in 2014 under the leadership of Manny Trinca.  Before striking out on his own, Manny was associated for 11 years as a Senior Architect with Francl Architecture in Vancouver.  Over the course of 20 years, Manny has been fully immersed in architectural design and project management, and has had a wide range of experience with large-scale recreational, commercial, civic and residential developments.  He has also led significant award winning projects including the Trout Lake Community Centre and Arena. Manny’s keen eye for design and his creative capacity have been recognized by colleagues, consultants, contractors and clients. In addition to his experience and professionalism, Manny brings excellent design, presentation, organizational and technical skills and passion to his work.

Imaginative by nature, Abigail brings a broad range of international professional artistic experience to projects. Believing architecture, like art, can create surprise in the everyday, Abigail’s practice highlights strong environmental and cultural components in projects to breathe life and imagination into our surroundings.

Having worked with a number of prestigious fine art institutions including Frieze contemporary art magazine in London, UK, and Magnum Photos in both London and Brazil, she returned to Vancouver to pursue her interest in the built environment. Since graduating from the University of British Columbia School of Architecture she worked as a research assistant and designer for Professor Inge Roecker (UBC), principal Architect at ASIR studio, and intern architect at RT Architecture studio and currently working towards her AIBC registration.

As Trinca Architecture’s senior intern architect, she is passionate about how buildings reflect and influence how we live, work and play, Abigail’s commitment to architecture is inspired by her creative process and understanding of people’s and environmental needs.

Marcus is passionate about architectural innovation that promotes cultural and community integration.

During his studies at British Columbia Institute of Technology, Marcus focused particularly on regenerative design and mass timber construction. With over 5 years in the industry, Marcus joined Trinca Architecture in 2019 bringing valued technical and artistic talents to our team.

Seeing Architecture as an opportunity to support, shape, and enhance people’s daily life, he enjoys collaborating with clients to understand their needs, explore new ideas, and transform those ideas into reality.
