Contemporary West Coast
The Indian Residential School History and Dialogue Centre is located at the heart of the UBC Campus. The pavilion will provide both public information to visitors as well as an accessible place on the west coast for former residential school survivors, their families, and communities to access their records, and discuss this somber part of Canadian history.
The facility was integrated into the revitalization of UBC library square gardens. Together this special place symbolizes an tragic moment in Canadian History that is not to be forgotten.
